Welcome to the home of page of the Staten Island Alumnae Chapter (SIAC) of
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. On behalf of our dynamic, trend-setting membership, I welcome you to our official chapter website. We appreciate you taking the time to learn more about “The Little Chapter with the Big Heart”.

We are a sisterhood of college-educated women committed to serving the needs
of our communities through public service programs and events that educate,
empower and uplift through focus on our Sorority’s Five Point Programmatic
Thrust:

• Economic Development

• International Awareness and Involvement

• Physical and Mental Health
• Political Awareness and Involvement

The Staten Island Alumnae Chapter (SIAC) was chartered on January 20, 1996,
by 23 inspirational women, who shared the vision and desire to support the
Staten Island Community by bringing Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
programming to the island. Since then, SIAC has been a leader in community
engagement and continues to work independently and partner with other non-
profit organizations in Staten Island to enhance our community through
dedication to Scholarship, Service and Social Action.

Island Alumnae welcomes you! We invite you to contact our membership chair at

meetings, held on the second Saturday of each month at 10 AM or any of our
