Greetings,

On behalf of the dedicated women of the Staten Island Alumnae Chapter (SIAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I welcome you to our official chapter website. We are delighted you have taken a few moments to connect with the Staten Island Alumnae Chapter and learn more about the “The little chapter with the Big Heart” through our virtual venue.

We are a sisterhood of college educated women committed to providing public service programming and making an impact in the Staten Island community that we serve.

Staten Island Alumnae Chapter was chartered on January 20, 1996, by 23 dynamic young women.  It was their shared vision, enthusiasm, and desire to bring forth positive examples and devoted community service programming to the borough of Staten Island.

In 2019, we remain faithful and committed to the ideals of our dear Sorority of Scholarship, Sisterhood and Service as we continue to be up front and center in the SI Community. Our strong foundation and relevant programs that have been created to support our Sorority’s programmatic thrust in the areas of: Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Political Awareness, and Physical and Mental Health.

We have a plethora of informative and exciting fundraising events, programs, and community service projects planned for the Staten Island Community in the forthcoming year. It is because of you that the women of SIAC will continue to forge forward and remain R- realistic E- enthusiastic A- authentic and L- lifelong.

Please continue to visit our website regularly to remain abreast of our events and feel free to follow us on our social media sites via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

We also encourage and welcome members of our illustrious sorority who are looking for a chapter home to join us for our monthly chapter meetings held virtually on the second Saturday of each month at 10AM.

In the spirit of Sisterhood,
Yolanda R. Scott
