Join SIAC for our 4th Annual MLK Day of Service: "One Day in a Lifetime of Service" on Monday, January 16, 2023 9:45 am- 4:00pm. We will be making 3 service stops throughout the day, volunteers welcomed and donations accepted.

1st Service Stop 9:45 am- 10:30 am

Forest Avenue COMEunity Fridge  located at 2142 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10303. We will be dropping off donations: Yogurt, fresh produce, Individual Juices, bottled water, and canned goods. Volunteers can donate nonperishable items like pasta and rice, drinks that are not alcoholic, milk (and milk alternatives), frozen meat, eggs, and bread.

2nd Service Stop: 11:00am -2:00pm

Catholic Charities Of Staten Island Asylum seeker Donation Sorting located at 120 Anderson Ave Staten Island NY 10302. We will be sorting gently used donated clothes for asylum seekers.

3rd Service Stop: 2:30pm -4:00pm

Blessing Bag Give-Away and Drive at PS 44 Thomas C. Brown located at 80 Maple Pkwy, Staten Island, NY 10303. We will provide toiletries to families at PS44 who are currently in shelters and other temporary housing. Volunteers can donate: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soap, mouthwash, toilet paper, paper towels, and lotion.
